ABOUT

ColoBeans is a 24 year old Taiwanese-American multidisciplinary artist that hails from LA County, California, since they were 6 months old.

Growing up impoverished and undocumented, their family worked together in construction from an extremely young age and developed multiple skill sets with outstanding craftsmanship,
vision, flexibility, attention to detail, and deep knowledge and experiences of humanity.

They graduated Mt. San Antonio College in Spring 2020 with Honors with dual degrees; an AA-T in Fine Arts, and AS in Social and Behavioral Science. She was accepted to CSULB, CSUF, CSUN, UC Berkeley, and UCI, but chose Cal State University Northridge due to it being the only option with affordable living and location cost.

Graduated from CSUN in Spring 2023 with honors distinction of Magna Cum Laude and 3.78 GPA.

They were close to completing a Junior Animator level 2 Certificate when her two beloved dogs became ill with seizures and the other with weekly vet visits for bladder stone surgery.

Amassing her multimedia techniques, her work aims to awe and invite the viewer to
further closely inspect her work for the artistry, workmanship, detail, texture, and fantastical whimsy to evoke the child in everyone, whether it be in sculpture, short animations, charcoal, pastel, or colored pencil drawings, or digital and traditional paintings.
